KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All copywriting

  • Preserve brand identity and maintain consistency in written brand messaging.

  • Consulting and guiding everything related to copy

  • Manage third party copy (i.e. copy written by our brand partners for their business, which need to be in line with our brand guidelines)

  • Interviewing designers (e.g. before product introductions to create perfect copy for new products)

  • Product/collection naming (especially for new introductions)

Further, as a creative, we’d appreciate your involvement in brainstorms for creative concepts and more.

It is beneficial if you have experience in writing copy for media relations, social media, email marketing, sales promo’s, web content etc. Experience in InDesign preferred so you can support turning copy in deliverables using existing templates. 

In more detail, where is copy needed:

  • Product copy, inspirational and product focused

  • Social Media

  • Email marketing

  • Web stories

  • Podcast

  • Collections copy

  • Brand/licensing partners copy

  • Project concepts (Milan Design Week, Every Human, themed campaigns, etc)

  • Signage for our stores

  • Printed materials (Magazine, book, flyers, etc.)

  • Advertisement copy

IT WOULD BE AMAZING IF
You are a dedicated and creative team player with a lot of positive energy who loves design, aesthetics and high-end interiors. One of your favorite motto’s is: ‘Make it happen!’.

Further, it would be much easier for you and us, if you:

  • have similar experience in another job;

  • have experience with InDesign and Figma to implement your copy in fixed templates for severable deliverables (sales promo’s, press release etc)

  • have experience with website back end content systems to create special web content

  • are a creative thinker and love challenging convention;

  • strongly understand current industry tools and have the ability to adapt to new technologies;

  • have affinity in drafting communication plans

  • are fluent in written and spoken English – Dutch is an advantage;

  • are driven by curiosity, humility and a passion for doing great work;

  • can work on several projects simultaneously and under time pressure and you remain effective under tense circumstances.

PLACE IN ORGANISATION
For this job you will be working mainly from our HQ in Breda and/or our store/office in Amsterdam. You are primarily part of the Brand Team, that is integral part of the Creations Team (consisting of the Brand,  Marcom and Licensing Teams).  You will report to the Marketing Manager.

Founded in 2001, Moooi currently employs approximately 90 people worldwide. Our headquarters are based in Breda, the Netherlands, our warehouses are based in Alphen, New Jersey and Shanghai. Our own stores are located in Amsterdam and New York.
